With years of experience navigating divorce, custody, and co-parenting issues under the family court microscope, I use my extensive knowledge and training to educate and guide those who are confronting these challenges with high-conflict individuals. Employing a three-pronged approach, I equip clients with the necessary information, strategies, and tools to tackle their challenges, protect their children, and meet their goals.
Unpacking each high-conflict individual’s unique behaviors and motivations, I provide clients critical information about the person they are up against, targeting specific strategies that will prove useful at various junctures of their divorce and child custody battles.
I offer insight about the realities of family court, knowledge integral for a successful outcome. I help clients develop a strategy mindset and give them the tools they need to shine in the areas that matter most to the court.
Those who find themselves under the family court microscope are viewed through a very narrow lens. Based on limited information, the court quickly formulates a picture of both parties and makes lasting judgements, often favoring parental rights over children’s rights. I help clients effectively document and present the most compelling evidence, allowing the narrow lens of the court to remain focused on the truth.
The information, strategies, and tools with which I equip clients have been garnered not only through extensive training, but through personal experience as well. It was my therapist who first explained to me that my then-husband’s behavior had a name – abuse. She encouraged me to seek safety, not reconciliation, as domestic abuse almost always escalates. With time, I learned firsthand how right she was. What followed this awakening was years of clawing my way out of an abusive relationship, protecting my children, navigating the family court system, and, eventually, healing and thriving.
I know all too well how isolating, confusing, and frustrating this journey can be, but with me as your strategy partner, you do not have to walk this path alone.
